All pages are visible to your audience by default, but you can decide to hide a page. ๐ This might be useful when you're still finetuning a page but are ready to set live changes to other pages.ย
๐ก This feature is only available to select plans. Contact your Customer Success Manager to learn more.
For example:
- You've corrected typos on pages 4 and 5 and want to set those changes live (by republishing).
- You've been working on page 6 because of internal feedback, but that requires more work โ that's why you hide page 6 for your audience.
To hide a page, open the pages overview, navigate to the page you want to hide for your audience, and click the eye icon. Selectย hide page.
Once the page is hidden for your audience, it will no longer appear in the preview and live versions of your Foleon Doc. Of course, you'll still see it in the page overview and be able to edit it.
Does your Foleon Doc have a navigation bar? A hidden page is automatically excluded from the navigation bar, which you'll see once you look in the select pages section of the Doc settings.
๐ก The page also won't be visible in the PDF export of your content or when you compress your content to a ZIP file. You also won't see the page in Review Mode.ย
A few rules:
- You can't hide the first page.
- You can't move a hidden page to the first position, as the first page always needs to be visible.
- The first page always needs to be visible. When the second page is hidden, you canโt delete the first page.
Do you want to show the page again? Open the pages overview, click the eye icon, and select show page.
