Manage your profile
To access your profile settings, click on your initials in the top left corner of the dashboard, then click on "See profile".
Edit your personal details by clicking on the Edit button. You can edit your first name, last name, and email address. The user role can only be changed by an admin user in your account. For more information, check out this article about users and roles.
Email address login
When you create a Foleon account or you've been added to an account by an admin user, you will use an email address. This email address will also be used as your account username.
You can change your email address from Profile. To activate a new email address, click on the activation link sent to your email address. Until you’ve activated the new email address, it won’t yet be visible in your profile, and you can continue using your current email address to log in to your Foleon account.
Make sure you click Save Changes when you change your account email.
You will find more information on how to manage your users in the article Set up Users and roles.
Your password
When you create an account (or get added to an existing account), you need to set a password. To change your password, click on Change Password in your Profile, and you'll receive an email with instructions.
💡A good password is at least 14 characters long but super easy to remember. A phrase usually works best. Something like itakemy1stcoffeesugarfree would be perfect!
Forgot your password?
In case you forgot your password and you’re still logged in, change your password following the same steps described above, by clicking on Change Password.
If you forgot your password and you’re not logged in, click Forgot password? below the password field on the login page, and enter your email address. You’ll receive an email with instructions to change your password.
User roles
In Foleon, you can either be an Admin, Publisher, Designer, Editor, or Reviewer.
Only admin users can change roles in the dashboard. Navigate to the dashboard and click users in the menu on the left. The button + Invite New User is in the top-right corner.
Learn more about these user roles in the article: Setting up Users and roles.
💡Have you been a Foleon customer for a while? Certain plans might also have the option to assign publisher (legacy), editor (legacy), and author roles. These roles have different sets of permissions.
