Create a new Foleon Doc from the dashboard
New Foleon Docs are created on the dashboard. From the dashboard, click create new Foleon Doc to start from scratch. If you've saved one of your Docs as a template, you'll find them here.
Alternatively, you can browse through our selection of expert-designed templates to get off to a flying start. We've categorized our templates into 6 departments:
- Marketing
- Sales
- Corporate Communications
- Internal Communications and HR
- Support and Customer Service
- Finance

Choose a content type
You can start your new content with a blank canvas or with one of our pre-filled templates. After choosing a content type, click Next.
💡 Adding a type to your Doc helps us monitor how our customers use Foleon. Therefore, it’s for internal use only and doesn’t affect features.
-
Link a Foleon Doc to a project
Every new Doc must be linked to a project. You can link your Doc to an existing project or create a new one. You can also move this Doc later on from one project to another.
💡 Read more about projects in the article Working with projects.
-
Name your Foleon Doc
Give your Doc a name and click Get Started to go to the editor.
This name will be displayed in the dashboard, in the browser, and on social media when shared.
💡 You can also control what your Foleon Doc will look like in the URL; this is what we call the Foleon Doc Alias. You can control this in the Foleon Doc Settings.
Create a new Foleon Doc in a project
You can also create a Foleon Doc directly in the project you want it in. Go to the relevant project and click Create Foleon Doc. You will then have to select a content type, without having to assign the Doc to a project.
