Analyzing your content
🎥 Watch our video on this topic!
After putting time and effort into creating exceptional content, you’ll want to know how it's performing:
-
How many people are reading your content?
-
Was your content interesting enough?
-
Did it lead them to take further action?
The only way to find out is to start measuring. We have our own built-in reporting tool and enable you to connect your project to Google Analytics.
💡 Not all analytics platforms measure in the same way. Learn more in our article Difference between Google Analytics and Foleon Analytics.
Foleon Analytics
Our built-in Foleon Analytics gives you easy access to the most important metrics on your content’s performance. It allows you to analyze how your content is performing, and collect learnings to make your next piece of content even better.
You can access these reports by clicking on Foleon Analytics in the Quick Actions menu of any live Foleon Doc.

Once in the Analytics dashboard, you can easily switch to other Foleon Docs for analysis. Next to that, you can change the date range to control the time period of your data. Both can be adjusted with just a few clicks.
📖 Learn more about the different metrics in our article Our Foleon Analytics metrics explained.

Google Analytics
Next to our built-in reporting, we also enable you to connect your Foleon Docs to Google Analytics.
Once you’ve created an account (or have logged in to an existing account) and Google Analytics property, you can connect it to your Foleon project. In the project settings, scroll down to the Google Analytics tab.
💡 We recommend connecting your project to Google Analytics before you publish any content, to not miss out on any vital data.

Insert the tracking ID (or UA code) and hit Save. That’s it.
⚠️ If you've added a UA code to your project, you have to republish all live Foleon Docs in the project for the changes to take effect.
📖 Learn all about it in our article Connect Google Analytics to your Foleon Docs.
