Questions concerning the ZIP file containing your classic Foleon Docs
Is my custom publishing domain configuration included in the ZIP file?
No. The publishing domain depends on the domain configuration of the web server you upload the contents of the ZIP to. Learn more in our article hosting Foleon Docs on your own server.
Does the ZIP file contain my unpublished classic Foleon Doc too?
Yes. It contains all classic Docs in your account — both the formerly live classic Docs and the unpublished ones.
Does the ZIP file contain the submitted form results for forms that are part of my classic Docs?
No. This feature was available to all customers using classic Docs until mid-2021, when we took the classic Foleon dashboard offline.
How can I upload my ZIP on my own?
To learn how to do this, please visit our article on hosting Foleon Docs on your own server.
I'm self-hosting my classic Doc and it doesn't load anymore. What can I do?
If you’ve downloaded your ZIP file, including classic docs with editions shown, and you self-host the content, the Foleon Doc will not load in the browser. This is due to a security update on our platform, impacting Docs with editions specifically.
To fix this issue, you’ll need to adjust the index.html file. Follow these steps:
- Find the index.html file in the personalized ZIP file that you’ve downloaded. We sent you an email with this ZIP file in June 2022.
- Open the index.html file in a text or code editor.
- Search for:
"has editions_hidden" : false
- Change the value to “true”, making it:
"has editions_hidden" : true
- Save the file.
